I have a daughter in college and as for professional childcare experience I have worked at Primrose School in Texas for 1 year as an infant teacher. I loved my job playing with babies and watching them grow was the best part of my job but I wanted to go to Lash School to become a Lash Technician. After quitting Primrose School I still kept in touch with a couple of my students because I loved them so much and I wanted to let mom and dad know to keep in touch if they needed to getaway for a few hours. I’ve always loved working with kids, and childcare has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. I come from a big family with five younger siblings, including a toddler who just turned three, so I’ve grown up helping with little ones every day. From ages 12–16, I regularly babysat for friends, families in my community, and at church events, which helped me build patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills. I later worked at my local YMCA daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with groups of children, daily routines, and fun, age-appropriate activities. When I turned 18, I also worked as a live-in nanny for a few months. I know basic baby sign language and enjoy using it to help babies communicate their needs before they can talk.
