My husband and I are "empty nesters". I miss the joy and fun of being around children. I was a nanny throughout college and currently sit for friend and family when needed. I am considered the "fun aunt" by my nieces and nephews.

While I do not have any professional experience with childcare, I did babysit and house sit for family growing up. I also want to go back to school one day and finish my teaching degree. During school I was in the National Honor Society and graduated in the top quarter of my graduating class in high school. I have over 20 years experience babysitting children from infants through middle school age, and have worked in a childcare setting for 15 of those years. I also volunteered working with the youth at my church in the past, mostly with middle school girls. Although some ages and personalities are more challenging than others, I always find it rewarding working with children. They see the joy and wonder in things we take for granted, and I am always learning something from them. I love music and reading, as well as doing arts and crafts, playing games, and baking. Since I work full time during the week, I am only available weekends and evenings.
