I have 4 years experience as a babysitter for my family and family friends. I’m able to help with light house keeping as well as school work. Also, I have a bachelors degree in Healthcare Management for the University of Alabama at Birmingham but my passion has always been with working with kids. Also, with this passion I aspire to open up my own daycare or pediatric care facility.

I love being a sitter because caring for children comes naturally to me, and I enjoy creating a calm, safe, and fun environment for them. I have been working and living with American families for almost two years in the United States. I am originally from Brazil, where I also gained extensive childcare experience. My first language is Portuguese. I have always had a passion for working with children. I helped care for my two younger sisters while growing up, which strengthened my natural sense of responsibility and nurturing. I have strong experience with infants—from newborns to older babies—as well as with children on the autism spectrum. In one of my previous positions, I lived with a family where I was responsible for caring for three children at the same time. Before coming to the U.S., I worked as a Community Health Agent in Brazil for almost four years. This background provided me with knowledge of basic first aid, including how to respond to choking situations, although I have thankfully never faced an emergency with a child.

I am a college student at UTC! I have three younger sisters and have been working in childcare for 6-7 years! I am BLS certified. I am very caring and passionate and love providing fun and enriching environments for kids!

Working with children has always been a passion of mine! Growing up, I knew that I wanted to positively impact children in the same way that people have made a positive impact on me as a child. At all times, children should be protected, but they should also be allowed to take safe risks that will further their knowledge and help them evolve into their future selves. By working with children, I aspire to help them attain knowledge regarding personal care activities but also aspire to help them accomplish any goals that their parents have set for them. If I am granted the opportunity to work with your child, I will always put my best foot forward regarding teaching your child about various subjects and regarding anything that you might need my assistance with in general. Lastly, I also have my CPR/First Aid Certification so, your child will be in safe hands with me at all times.

Being able to form a bond with children, younger or older, and spend true time with them is something that I really enjoy! I always loved being able to watch and take care of my nieces, nephews, and cousins whenever I had the chance growing up. A little bit about me is that I'm currently in nursing school pursing my RN license and I am also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) with CPR Training. Besides when my head is not in the books and I am not studying, I enjoy spending time at home with my Husband and dog, doing spontaneous activities with my friends, and I love to skate! As far as babysitting goes, I enjoy helping families out where I can to help take the load off. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate updates at pickup or via text, according to your preference.
