I spent the summers in high school working at a day camp with kids from 1st grade to 6th grade. My summers in college were spent nannying kids ranging from age 2 to 13. I recently finished my masters and now am working full time but I would love to watch your kids on the weekends or for date nights during the week!

Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I enjoy being around kids. They’re fun, unpredictable, and I like knowing I can make them feel safe and cared for. I also like building that trust with both the kids and the parents. What experience do you have? I've babysat for family and family friends, and I’ve worked in my church nursery every Sunday for years or about five hours each time. I’ve taken care of babies as young as a few weeks old up to kids around six years old. I helped with everything from feeding and diaper changes to calming them down or playing with them when they’re fussy or bored. What skills and training do you have? I’m CPR certified and confident handling younger kids, even when things get hectic. I’m patient, responsible, and know how to stay calm when a kid is crying or something unexpected happens. I also try to make sure kids feel seen and listened to, not just watched.
