Ever since I was in my pre teen and teenage years I have loved watching children! The connection you can form with a child is truly the sweetest thing I have ever experienced. I love working with kids so much, that my career path has been teaching/ social work for as long as I can remember :) I recently graduated from Colgate University, where I double majored in Psychology and Education. I have various childcare experiences, including foster children (ages 5-9), babysitting family friends (ages 6-12), and fellowships and jobs where I created lesson plans and CBT training (ages 10-18). Although my CPR and AED certifications haven’t been renewed, I still have these skills and have a good knowledge of medical issues due to being a caregiver for various family members. I am also looking to improve my Spanish and reach fluency this year. I am always an active caregiver and love to play games, read, complete crafts, or anything else that will keep the little ones engaged! My first goal is to make sure a child feels safe and comfortable with me, so that we can then create a FUN, engaging, and even educational experience!
