1. I’ve been drawn to caregiving since I was a teenager, from nannying during my summers to being a role model for my four nieces and nephews. Now that I’m 28 and pursuing a career as a Doula, I love being a sitter because it allows me to use my maturity and experience to create a stable, nurturing environment for kids while being a trusted partner for parents. I am a Doula Intern specializing in infant care and family support, and I hold a current Red Cross Baby/Child CPR and First Aid certification. Because of my experience assisting with a large family (4 children), I am very comfortable managing multiple needs at once, from meal prep to bedtime routines. I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. I've been a nanny, for a 3-year-old boy who was visually impaired, and for sisters, a newborn and 15 months. Off and on I nannied for a family with three rambunctious 3 year olds. I've also nannied a 10-year-old for a summer, along with many other babysitting jobs here and there over the years. I spent time co-leading the youth group at my church for a year. I also have other professional experience working in a children's psychiatric facility, ages ranging from 4-17. Hi! I’ve been abroad since the summer, but I’m back and ready to start helping some families! Before I left, I watched a girl (13) and boy(7) after school. One day a week I would also watch 3 boys (7,9,10). There were a few other families that had me on call, usually overnight and weekends. Weekends were a 2yo girl, overnight was a 5yo boy, and date nights were a 5 month old and two other school age children. I love being around children and elderly because they need someone positive in their lives to show that other people, besides their families can give love as well when needed. I've been involved with many families in my past, and left a positive reflection on them as they have grown in adults. Til this day, the children and their children love to be around me. I have an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education in Infant and Toddlers. I've worked at UAMS from 2016-2020, and Toodle Tots Daycare from 2022 to present, and now I'm seeking a different area of work with similar skills, but with the elderly to gain experience. It did training in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant from September 2023 to December 2023. I wasn't able to renew my national certification due to low funds. I have taken the CPR class, but I will have to check into it to see if it's expired or not

I have worked in a home daycare 'Heavenly Bundles' in Southwest Little Rock. I am now employed full time mon-fri with Baptist as a Preschool teacher for over a year now.
