1. I’ve been drawn to caregiving since I was a teenager, from nannying during my summers to being a role model for my four nieces and nephews. Now that I’m 28 and pursuing a career as a Doula, I love being a sitter because it allows me to use my maturity and experience to create a stable, nurturing environment for kids while being a trusted partner for parents. I have over half a decade of combined caregiving and professional experience. I spent two summers nannying for a family with children aged 5 and 8, and I provided childcare for university faculty throughout my college years. More recently, I’ve been a support for my sister and her four children. My professional background also includes several years in high-stakes hospitality, which sharpened my ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in any situation. 3. I am a Doula Intern specializing in infant care and family support, and I hold a current Red Cross Baby/Child CPR and First Aid certification. Because of my experience assisting with a large family (4 children), I am very comfortable managing multiple needs at once, from meal prep to bedtime routines. My strongest skills are my reliability, my ability to handle emergencies calmly, and my commitment to maintaining a positive, smoke-free, and structured household.
