Since I was in the second grade I have known that I wanted to work with children.  I strongly believe that children deserve the best environment and role models to foster their development.  I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and caring for children is a passion of mine; as children should have the best possible influences in order to become successful citizens of the future.  With the aid of my education, focusing on child development and behavioral psychology, I believe I can foster the type of environment that is nurturing and encourage a child’s mental and social development.  I have many unique skills as I have tutored children diagnosed with Autism, helping them learn daily living, speaking, peer interaction, and play skills.
