Hello! My name is Veronica, and I am a 21 year old college student majoring in psychology and child development hoping to work with kids in the future! I currently work in applied behavior analysis working with kids 4-14 with autism, and used to work as a preschool teacher in the summer for 18mo-2yr olds. I live in the mountains so any job up here is easy to get to :) but willing to drive down the hill as well!

I am a college student at Cal Poly Pomona studying psychology and in the future, I am hoping to pursue child psychology. Personally, I love being a sitter because I enjoy working with kids. I have two brothers that I babysit a lot, so I feel like this contributes to my experience. Additionally, I have worked as a program leader at an after-school program in Yucaipa, and I’m currently working at after-school program for a private school. As for skills and training, I have my First Aid Certification which includes CPR and AED use. My experience as a program leader has helped me with learning how to approach behavioral issues, regulation tactics, and creating engaging crafts.

I have been an educator for about 7 years now. I have 9+ years of camp counselor experience. I love working with children and sharing my passion for the outdoors with them, especially in this technological world we live in. I enjoy being active with activities like hiking, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors. I do have a science background and am bilingual (Spanish). I currently work as an outdoor educator where I teach students in the outdoors. I have worked with a wide range of ages from 6-18. Also have experience supervising children with different physical, emotional, and social needs. I am CPR/AED certified and WFA certified.
