Hi there. I have loved children my whole life. Majoring in Human Development at UC Davis was an easy decision for a career path. I began teaching preschool after graduation, then worked for a few years at as lay counselor at a non-profit. I stayed home for a number of years to raise my two sons; I am so grateful to have wonderful relationships with both of them. I began working again as a preschool teacher, the, transitioned to being a nanny and family assistant. I have fourteen years of experience with two families. One of my greatest strengths is being intentional about the relationships I have with people -personal and professional. I am kind and respectful toward others and I am intentional about teaching that to children. I nurturing and intuitive, but also analytical and driven by a desire to always be learning. I’m a leader by nature, and a self-starter, but I work well in collaborative relationships. I enjoy managing a family calendar and doing the various tasks that come with that. Hello my name is Ruth, I am currently a nursing student who wants to work in pediatrics as I love children but would not like any of my own as I would love to adopt. I believe that children deserve the absolute best care and hope to provide that. I have taken care of special needs children before and as well can tutor, and babysit children in general as I’ve done that from the age of 15. I do have my cpr certification so if anything does happen then I will be best prepared as well I do have my covid vaccinations and boosters.
