Just returning to helping families with their children and homes after leaving my other job. Prior to this I've had a lifelong career with children either as a private Nanny or in my Home Licensed Daycare. I've had the pleasure of providing childcare/family assistant services for many families. I am experienced with infants through teenagers. I am the mother of two grown daughters and now four grandchildren!. I have held all type of positions, from full-time infant care to multiple sibling care with school transportation to household management. I have also provided nanny services for extended periods, while the parents were out of town for work/vacation. I strive to provide quality care and I have always been complimented. I am honest, reliable and trustworthy. I am currently available on an as needed bases, but I am seeking a permanent position of at least 6 months for 3 days per week. $25.00 - $30.00 depending on your needs and if household duties are involved. Sorry, I do not provide pet care. Prefer no pets but no aggressive pets at all. Not comfortable with large dogs while I'm there.

I have babysat for many families over the years - for kids of all ages. I absolutely adore not only taking care of kids but being able to provide them with a nurturing, interactive, safe yet fun environment. Most recently, I was a part-time nanny for a sweet one-year-old girl and took care of her three days a week. In addition to making sure she was well-taken care, I helped out with housework such as cooking, cleaning/tidying, organizing, laundry and more. I'm more than happy to do anything needed since I understand how hard it can be for a family to balance everything. I first became a nanny while studying at UCLA and helped raise a wonderful two-year-old girl in Bel Air. For the next three and half years, I helped raise her - 5 days a week. Every single day we engaged in interactive and imaginative play, explored outside and worked on growing her overall knowledge of the world. I also worked at introducing various basic concepts like kindness and original thinking. I grew up in a family of educators and spent many of my early years in my mother's and sister's classrooms helping their students. For me, every moment with a child is an opportunity to help expand their minds and grow as an individual. Post-UCLA and after another year of nannying, I left California to serve in the Peace Corps as an Education Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa where I taught preschool in a rural village to over sixty-six children. I also taught English to high school-aged children and some adults on the side. After returning from the Peace Corps, I found myself back in Los Angeles where I started to teach again at a private preschool in West LA. It was a wonderful opportunity where I was able to plan and prepare incredible, creative lessons for my students. A little more about who I am - my passions include yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, herbalism and cooking. I'm also working on starting a small business so saving up for that. While I do not have any of my own children yet, I I absolutely love spending time with kids and truly enjoy encouraging them to embrace life to the fullest. Hello! I have enjoyed babysitting, nannying, caregiving, and mothering over the course of most of my life. I began as a teen in my neighborhood and continued caring for children part-time while in college and working other jobs, right up until I had children of my own. My husband and I have raised four children, now adults and have flown the coop. I sincerely miss children! They are such a joy, so funny, curious, authentic, and precious. Because it was always very important to me to remain available and involved, mothering/homemaking was my main job during my children's growing years (for which I have no regrets)! I also have experience with developmentally disabled children, as I formerly worked with Easter Seals and Nolan Services. Now that I'm a young "empty nester," I find myself wanting to be involved with children again. I value a healthy lifestyle, which includes cooking and eating nutritiously, exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I recently ended a caregiving job with a lady with Parkinson's, but because of an injury respite from physically demanding work became necessary.
