I’ve been babysitting for many years now, and I have a lot of experience with all ages. I get along great with kids and their parents, and my schedule is extremely flexible! I manage my time very well, and I respect the parents time as well so I would never be late. My ability to praise Amanda is limited only by my English vocabulary. She is kind, responsible, and most importantly, truly loving. In every small detail, it’s easy to see that she does this work out of love and the kindness of her heart. She is incredibly attentive to my baby’s development. I can hardly remember a moment when she wasn’t fully focused on him. She is always patiently teaching him to speak, singing with him, helping him play, and encouraging him to interact with others. She has made the sweetest handmade gifts for my baby on special occasions. She has even brought toy when she noticed something he especially liked, and brought her own learning tools to teach him. My son used to be very shy and would cry he met new people. Since Amanda started working with us, his personality has completely changed in the best way. He is now comfortable around others, friendly and confident. Now he is the most popular kid in the neighborhood, and everyone loves him. Amanda is also extremely professional when it comes to safety and always makes thoughtful, careful decisions. When she takes him out to play, she gets along wonderfully with other families, and now people we met through playdates have reached out to ask if Amanda has availability to work with them. That says everything. We feel incredibly lucky to have her!

I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

Kveta is amazing! My cat instantly warmed up to her and I feel comfortable knowing he's well taken care of. She sends photos of how my cat is doing when I'm away and quickly picked up my cat's complex care routine (he has some underlying medical issues).

I was an Infant/Toddler Lead/Primary Teacher at a Fortune 100 company in San Francisco. I'm currently working for one of Oakland’s growing preschools in the Piedmont area. I have taught for over six years and have babysat since my early teens. I am moving toward working with families on a one-time, occasional, or long-term basis. I enjoy working with children and supporting their learning and development through nurturing care and positive experiences in new environments with new friends. I love being silly and bringing joy through smiles and laughter. I'd love to learn more about this opportunity.

Charnette has been terrific to work with. She has baby sat our son multiple times starting when he was 9mo old (He's 2yo now). She really knows kids at that age and was able to connect with him quickly and overcame any stranger-danger. They clearly had a good time together and things went super smoothly. She is always quick at communicating and getting back to us and absolutely on time. We couldn't be happier.

I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Child and Adolescent Development, with a concentration in Elementary Education. Although new to professional child care, I have experience babysitting my nieces, providing engaging activities, helping with meals, and homework. With 3 years of working with students in an after school setting under my belt, I provide fun approaches in my activity prep. Genuine compassion, patience, and understanding are how I stay successful in building connections with children. I currently work part-time at a math after school program where I work with students ranging from grades 2-6. I am flexible in discussing what schedule would work best. Currently I am not CPR + First Aid certified, however I have extensive experience with children of all ages and can becoming certified when necessary. I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm and positive attitude to a part-time babysitting role. Making sure your kids have a fun and safe environment while also supporting your family’s needs. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
