For the past 8 years, I have cared for multiple children in Sacramento, San Diego and Davis at varying degrees. My babysitting experience begins when I was 16 y/o when I babysat a 3 y/o boy for date nights, last minute events, as well as his parents’ wedding. After graduating high school, I became a full-time nanny for 2 y/o twin girls where I was working 50 hour weeks, including early mornings and overnight shifts. While I was pursuing my undergraduate degree at UC Davis, I worked as a part-time sitter for 5 different families, a respite worker for 1 year, and a teaching coordinator for a few months. From taking care of these kids, I have experience with making bottles, changing diapers, giving kids a bath, naptime, making lunch and other meals, as well as getting them ready for bed. I am always ready to learn something new and I will do exactly as you ask me to. I pick up on information very quickly and am very good at following instruction. A little bit about me, I have grown playing sports my whole life. I have done soccer and basketball competitively, as well as softball and karate. I also love music having played the clarinet for 7 years, the violin for 2 years before that and being part of my high school marching band for all four years. I graduated from UC Davis March 2022 with a degree in Human Biology and minors in History and Psychology. I have formed life long friendships with the families I have cared for and value every moment I spend caring for kids. I am CPR and First Aid Certified for Infants and Adults. Hello there, my name is kaitlyn and I am 29 years old. I have lived in the sacramento region for 10 years. I originated from a town called Sonora in the mountains by Yosemite. I’m a certified phlebotomist, was previously a LEAD preschool teacher in Roseville all of 2020 through covid, have been through medical assisting school, first responder classes, & also am CPR & first aid certified. Experience wise : Most of my experience is with infants-preschool age ranging from premature up to 3-6 yrs of age but i am also very familiar with age ranges up to 15+ years even with disabilities such as autism/Down syndrome. :) I have cared for 6 sets of twins throughout my years of nannying (most were premature, being twins, one set being 64 days premature and only weighing 1 lb 14 oz and the other twin was 2lb 7.5 oz). Such little guys! I have more infant/toddler experience than anything but i love kids of all ages as they are what keeps this world going if not with amazing talents but with smiles and laughs that even a cold soul couldn't help but smile at.
