Hi, my name is Maia. I'm an artist working in Santa Rosa, and have availability after work and on weekends if you need a babysitter! Before becoming a full time artist I was working full time as a nanny, for a variety of families with children of ages 4 and upwards. As well as babysitting in the evenings. Alongside nannying, last year I was the stop motion animation teacher at the Charles M Schulz museum, and was responsible for 22 children aged 6-9 and leading them in classroom activities, as well as taking them on trips around the museum. I was also the head of my local children's library for over 2 years, and was the head of planning and running arts and crafts activities for children of all ages. When I was younger, I volunteered as a girl scout leader for girls aged 5-7 for 3 years and was a regular babysitter for many of the girls and their siblings. I also recently worked at Kidspace Children's Museum, where my role was to engage with children of ages, and was trained by psychologists to understand play thoroughly. Hello beautiful people of Sonoma county! I am a nanny at heart but I also love to do short term babysitting jobs as well. I am an extremely fun , responsible, reliable and I love working with kids ! I have always love to work with children since I was a child myself. I would post around neighborhoods with a piece of paper at 14 and eventually became my neighborhoods nanny! They were small and short times shifts, mostly dinner dates , covering parents appointments. Once I turned 16, I would work higher paying and longer jobs. From there I knew that I wanted to work with kids for the rest of my life! I am majoring in child development and will also apply for a teaching degree to be a kindergarten teacher! I was a teacher in Italy for a year and I had a class of 17 students aged from 2,5yo to 6yo.
