I always make sure to have some kind of craft or activity planned to keep the kids active throughout the day. I have made slime(Glue, water, and borax) for them along with many play dough activities. I try to make each activity educational as well by having early school age children spell things out with whatever material we are using for the activity planned. I have over 14 years of experience with childcare "under my belt". I was a volunteer in our church nursery for about 10 years and through our ministry found families to babysit for. Through all these years I have looked after children of all ages from 5 weeks old to about 12 years old.
