Hello! My name is Britt. 😊 I grew up in WA state near Seattle and came to CA for college. I have 29 years of experience... Ever since age 13 I’ve babysat for several families at a time and also loved it! I think the best part of it all is getting to see these tiny beings change and grow, seeing their personalities come to light. Many might see babysitting as just a necessity for parents to be able to go out and have adult time, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance to have fun, to engage a child’s sense of wonder and their sense of self. I like to do activities with them and be outdoors when possible. I’m very respectful of parents’ preferences and like to follow their same rules set for their kids. I know that being a parent can sometimes be challenging... I can be there to help give you a much needed break or to help make daily life a little easier for you. While I have not been blessed to be a mother yet myself, I’ve learned a wide variety of things from each of the families I’ve had the pleasure to know and love. I have experience with autistic, Down syndrome, as well as behaviorally challenged individuals. I can help with homework, house work, transportation, and errands. My name is Bailey and I am CPR & AED /First Aide certified. I have always loved kids and spending time with them, as I grew up my mom had a daycare I would help with when I was not at school. I helped take care of newborns up to 10 yr olds. I also have a younger brother that I have helped with. During the summer I would help take the kids to the park, watch them in the pool, do fun activities, and take them on cool field trips to things like the kids museum.

I moved to San Luis Obispo in 2023 to be near my son and family have three grandchildren here I have worked for four babies in the local area and can provide excellent references. I am a registered nurse who has worked in a hospital on a psychiatric unit for the last 20 years. I started on a child/adolescent unit and moved to working with adults when our unit closed. I recently was able to drop my hours to part time and I am looking to find jobs that are less stressful, have better hours and are mostly enjoyable. I am looking to use my skills to continue to care for others in a more relaxed and positive environment. I enjoy the energy and innocence of children and animals and feel they need a structured environment that is also fun and most importantly safe and positive environment. I am current on my CPR certification and RN license. I have copies of PA Child Welfare and PA State Police clearances that are needed for working at the hospital. I would be willing to get any other clearances you require if I were to be hired.
