I am married and a mother of 4, ages 6-20. I have pretty much dedicated most of my employment years to working with young children as a preschool teacher's aide for 8 years. I also have sufficient knowledge in early childhood education, which I studied at Yuba College. When I gave birth to my children I took time off of work to dedicate mommy time and raise them until they entered preschool. I also babysat in my home for two families in the last 3-4 years. Until, my grandmother was frail and sick I decided to take the training needed to become a care provider for her, I cared for her for the last 2 years, then Our Lord needed her. I really value family life, children and assisting others. I am currently unemployed, looking for p/t work. In the meantime I help as a volunteer in our Parish. I also teach a Faith Formation class of 24-30 students once a week. I am dependable, trustworthy, organized, and bilingual. I know how challenging being a new mom can get, and I would have also liked if someone was there to assist me while my husband worked 2 jobs to provide for our family. Hi! My name is Amy, I am 22 years old. I am currently a student at CSU Dominguez Hills majoring in Criminal Justice Administration. I love working with children because I come from a family with a lot of kids. I've been the main one out of all my cousins to help take care of the little ones. I am a 39 yr old woman with 3 daughters of my own. I homeschool my children, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Before deciding to be a stay at home mom, I was a Physical Therapist Assistant and before that an Airmen in the United Stated Air Force. I also currently volunteer at my church to work in kids discipleship, mainly for 2nd and 3rd graders, but I am used where I am needed for any age.
