I am currently in college as a nursing student, my dream is to one day specialize as either a NICU nurse or a flight nurse. Before my daughter was born, I was a special education teacher at a little school in a small rural town in northern California. As a special education teacher, I worked with children from preschool to the 10th grade. I worked as a special education teacher for 7 years. Before becoming a credentialed teacher, I worked in a multi-age preschool serving children from infant to 5 with most of my time devoted to infants and 2 year olds. I have also worked with a local family as a nanny for the last three years. As of next fall, both of my children will have entered school which gives me the opportunity to work with new children and families. I would like to find a family whom I can work with in helping to care for their child(ren) and develop a strong nurturing relationship. Hi! I’m Anjali, I’m a 21 year old mom to a fun, sweet 1-year-old and am a full-time student at Sierra College. I offer child care, pet care, and household help. I’m creative, compassionate, and patient, and I love working with kids! I spent two years as a paraeducator with the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools, working with preschool through 8th-grade students with special needs. I’m also trained as a health aide with experience in seizure care and feeding tubes. Babysitting has what I've always done in my life whether it be watching my mother's kids, sister's, sister in law's, aunties, etc. I know a lot about babysitting, so you can always count on me. I can not cook ahah, but maybe something easy like mac and cheese, eggs, something I can cook that has instructions. I like to say I am pretty easy going with kids.
