Hi I’m Chandler :) I’m a 26 year old former cheerleader/future teacher. I have an associates degree in Child Development and am currently in school for my bachelors so I can teach. :) have been caring for children as a profession since I was 18 and I know I’ll never ever do anything else. I am a respite care provider as well as a babysitter through Sittercity. I was a teachers assistant for 6 years in a special education classroom but left this year to take school on full time. Before this, I did volunteer work for special needs programs while I was a teen. All in all I have 10 years of experience which have molded me into a patient and intuitive caregiver. I have lots of energy to keep up with any child and I truly enjoy their company. I’ve cared for all ages from 2 months old through to adulthood and am very comfortable learning new routines and home rhythms. Every person deserves to be cared for by people who choose to spend their day with them. This is how I spend my days :)

Thankful for Alejandra, she ended up being our datenight babysitter when I wasnt even looking (I just needed a sitter for a wedding that my husband and I were attending to) which says a lot about her. I never have to worry about her being late or call out last minute. My little boy always asks for her which I can understand why, she always plans a fun afternoon full of activities! 10/10 recommend.

My name is Lily, I am in the navy and I am a hospital corpsman, so I am CPR and BLS certified (as well as field medic certified) I am looking for a part time job to fill my time, but on occasion I will have duty. Which means sometimes I will not be available. I would like this job because I love working with children, and animals!I also used to teach children and even adults of all ages how to swim, so that would not be any issue for me if you needed extra assistance learning to swim! It would be best to let me know the times and days at least a week in advance, or more if possible so I can plan out my duty days. Please let me know if this will work for you! Also, I get off of work at 5pm every Monday-Friday, so if this is okay I would be more than willing to work something out! If you have any questions, or would like to meet up to see if I am a good fit for your family. Thank you!

Hi! My name is Rebeca and I love kids! It's always something new with them and I enjoy seeing their little personalities come out. One of my favorite things I have experienced with working with kids is seeing how every little one is always different in some way or another. I enjoy cooking/baking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors, especially the beach! I am responsible, reliable, communicative, caring, and extremely family-oriented. Although I am young, I have a long history of child care, such as paid child care, camp counseling, children's ministry, and a couple more experiences as well. I am dedicated to giving 100 percent to the things I am committed to, and I love doing everything knowing I am giving it my all! Thank you for your time!

We LOVE Beca, and are so grateful for her help. Beca is incredibly responsible, always on time, and communicative. She is so sweet with our kiddos (6 year old girl and 3 year old boy), and they adore her. She carefully observes them and adjusts as needed. Beca is also a huge help around the house and has never complained about filling her down time by helping with various chores. She even proactively finds ways to be helpful. Her support makes our world of chaotic joy work! Thank you, Beca!

Misty was so great with our 20 month old son. She allowed him to freely play in a safe environment and be outside while also keeping up with his feeding times. She was extremely responsive and arrived on-time. We already have her coming back. She is really positive and has a calm energy that had my son warm up to her really fast. 10/10 would recommend!

Hello, families my name is Alyda and I am 29 years old. I am a very honest, energetic and a loving person. I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember. Most recently, I worked for a family in Fallbrook for 8 years, but the kiddos have gotten older! I love to cook and do not have any problems doing some light housekeeping (picking up after the children, doing dishes, occasional children’s laundry, etc.). I am excellent at making super fun (healthy) snacks for children! I believe kids should create memories outdoors! I speak English and Spanish fluently. I am non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record. I am also a dog owner so I would definitely not mind being around dogs. I’m also a certified parenting instructor from prenatal care to adolescence. I’d be happy to provide references as well as meet or chat on the phone. Looking forward to hearing from you and I wish you the best of luck with your search!

Alyda was awesome with our 1.5-year-old while we were visiting Oceanside from Colorado. She made him feel comfortable right away and even brought a kit of fun stuff for him to play with. She was on time, confident with our kiddo, and all-around charming. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her again when we find ourselves back in Oceanside!

Caring for children of various ages, personalities, intelligence levels, and health conditions has become a lifestyle for me over the years. Helping young people on a close up and personal basis has provided them with the care they need while providing me with a sense of purpose and intrinsic enjoyment. Helping to raise three children over a 16 year period yielded me many experiences and has equipped me with various skills to include: diapering, bathing, grooming, bottle feeding, cooking, serving meals, light housecleaning, laundry, shopping, lunch packing, scheduling the children's appointments and activities, assisting with homework, driving children to and from school, after school activities, to their doctor and dental appointments, sports activities, and social functions, etc. More detailed experience includes full infant care, potty training, nap and bedtime routines, dispensing medications as instructed by the parents, teaching bike riding, swimming, phonetic reading, playtime at the park and beach, singing songs together, picnics, play dates, instructing children in crafts (such as Easter egg dying), teaching budgeting for children with their allowances, how to write thank you letters, teaching pet care, and how to wrap gifts. Have homeschooled students through grades 1-12 with hands-on teaching as well as establishing a home school with the state of California and overseeing an independent high school study program. Experience prepping middle school and high school students for theater auditions, procuring musical instruments/lessons, and finding instructors for children to expand their skills in such things as surfing, voice training, Cotillion, table manners, dog training, drivers' education, etc. Have planned birthday parties and sleepovers. Attended parent/teacher conferences, volunteered as a teacher's aid, and have assisted with school projects. CPR/first aid certified for 30+ years. Have volunteered as an acting instructor, intern director, makeup artist, and costume procurer, and Crew Manager for children's theater. I especially love reading to children, art projects, and helping them learn to cook and bake the foods they love to eat! Relationship building is key. There is a balance between fun, instruction, and discipline. Sharing life’s experiences, feelings, and ideas builds friendships, as well as mutual trust and respect. And of course, an occasional great big belly laugh does everybody a world of good!

Hello! I’m Ava, a college student with a passion for working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them to grow in. I have experience caring for children through babysitting family members, volunteering in a church nursery, assisting with dance classes, working in child photography, and supporting children with special needs. These experiences have helped me become patient, creative, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and personality. I’m comfortable caring for children from ages 1–17 and love keeping them engaged through pretend play, crafts, board games, and other fun activities that encourage creativity and connection. I also provide homework help and tutoring support — I am currently attending college and graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help with cooking, light cleaning, bedtime routines, and pet care. I have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable around animals. I’m CPR, First Aid, and AED certified and have a driver’s license, so safety and reliability are always priorities for me. What makes babysitting special to me is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids — making them laugh, helping them learn, and being someone they feel comfortable and safe around. I strive to create an environment where children can have fun while parents feel confident that their kids are in caring and responsible hands. *NOTE: My availability will change starting August 24, because I will be attending classes. If needed, I can share my school schedule to make sure I'm available when you need.
