I have an associates degree in Child Development and am currently in school for my bachelors so I can teach. :) have been caring for children as a profession since I was 18 and I know I’ll never ever do anything else. I am a respite care provider as well as a babysitter through Sittercity. I was a teachers assistant for 6 years in a special education classroom but left this year to take school on full time. Before this, I did volunteer work for special needs programs while I was a teen. All in all I have 10 years of experience which have molded me into a patient and intuitive caregiver. I have lots of energy to keep up with any child and I truly enjoy their company. I’ve cared for all ages from 2 months old through to adulthood and am very comfortable learning new routines and home rhythms. Which means sometimes I will not be available. I would like this job because I love working with children, and animals!I also used to teach children and even adults of all ages how to swim, so that would not be any issue for me if you needed extra assistance learning to swim!
