Hello! My name is Adriana, and I would love the opportunity to care for your little ones. I am a former preschool teacher with over 20 years of experience caring for children, from newborns to middle school age. Throughout my career as both a nanny and babysitter, I have focused on providing much more than supervision. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through play, exploration, and age-appropriate activities. I also have extensive experience caring for children with special needs. I hold a Certificate of Specialization in Special Needs Education and have worked with children of diverse abilities, allowing me to tailor my care to each child’s unique needs. As a mother of two wonderful adult children, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your family. Raising my own children has given me firsthand appreciation for the value of patience, consistency, and nurturing care. I am a native Spanish speaker, CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and am registered with TrustLine for an added level of security and peace of mind. I specialize exclusively in childcare and early childhood development. I do not provide housekeeping or cooking services, and I am unavailable to care for children who are ill. If you’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping children flourish, I would be honored to be part of your family’s support system. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Adriana has been our night nanny since the very day we brought our son home and she has been a treasure to my family. She is professional, reliable and knowledgeable, and always keeps a clean and organized environment. She stays awake the whole night and checks on baby immediately when he gets fussy or uncomfortable. She handles baby with comfort and confidence and you can tell right away that she has extensive experience with what she is doing. For example her technique of dealing with gassy stomach works like a charm that we almost never have to use the gas drop whenever she is around. As a thoughtful bonus, she even folds our family’s laundry, which has been such a wonderful help during the newborn stage. I appreciate her dedication and genuine love and care to my family since the day she walked through our door. We trust Adriana completely and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an exceptional night nanny.

I’m a thoughtful & caring nanny who has 8 years experience. I adapt quickly into most situations. I love kids & wish I’d have had 5 instead of 2. I’ve worked with newborns, infants, babies & toddlers up to age 15; with 1 child & as many as 4 children at a time. I offer fresh & nutritionally balanced meals & snacks. I handle sleep training if needed, pick ups, drop offs & general household assistance depending on your needs. I maintain kid’s pantry, grocery shop & run errands. I bring age appropriate developmental activities, indoors & outdoors. For example: swimming, mini golf, baseball, beach time, & developmental activities like art, reading, computer, math, legos, & constructive free play. I believe in outings to the parks, museums, movies, & beaches. I’m seeking a great families who need a hand. I am Covid protocol compliant including my vaccines and booster. My varied experience, judgement, patience, energy, education, fitness, & love of play based learning is a great contribution to the right family! Thanks! Lynn - [ ]

I ran 43 daycares for 16 years on the East Coast and was a nanny both in Maryland and in California after the selling of the daycares. I have also taught swimming, art, and dance to young children. I developed the curriculum for the daycares and trained the teaching staff. I have worked with thousands of children over a long career and still receive Christmas cards for children that are now in high school and college. I have over 2000 hours of Early childhood education and am a member of multiple teaching websites and stay up to date on current changes and teaching methods. I have been certified in CPR and first aid for years and have used it successfully in an emergency situation. I completed a class in CPR and First aid in May 2020 at the College of San Mateo and have been certified for many years. I am up to date on current trends such as Baby-led weening and other new techniques. I maintain a log so that the parents know what is happening with their young children. The log includes food and milk intake, diaper activity, nap length, and any observations that need to be passed on. I also take children to parks and pools or other activities. I am vaccinated and Covid careful. I also have multiple references from my past nanny positions. I have a pre-school and art program that I have developed and use currently. I enjoy working with children and building their confidence using music and art. I like to include active learning exercises that keep the children engaged. Singing is a constant part of my day-to-day interaction with the children I care for. I have 5 large Rubbermaid containers filled with games, art supplies, pre-school lessons and a storyboard with many different stories. All geared to develop confidence and build their learning capabilities. My rate is based not only on the market rate but hours and needs. When you hire me you are getting a professional that also becomes part of the family. I am currently looking for a position that is no less than 20 hours and no more than 40 hours a week. If you would like to hire me but don't have a total of 32 hours I am open to a salary amount that pays at the 32-hour rate when under the needed hours. I request five days of paid sick leave, two weeks of paid vacation the first year. Guaranteed salary based on the minimum hours. If this is something that you agree with I look forward to hearing from you.

JoElla was awesome! She took great care of our 6mo baby girl before she went to daycare. She is very detail-oriented, caring, responsible, and communicative. She helped my daughter stay on the age-appropriate schedule, got her used to bottle feeding, and helped her developmentally through various playtime activities. My daughter used to only take crap naps but with Jo she started taking longer naps! We were amazed. We look forward to working with Jo again in the future!

Hello families my name is Annette and I am a Mom of 18 year-old teen. I've always loved working with Kids and I'm looking for some part-time work to save for my daughter for college for when she transfers I do have a part-time job in Health Care. I am CPR and first aid certified. I work with families within my job and really love that part of my job. I also have experience with some senior care as well. I do like to get kids outside and keep them active in the fresh air even with a simple walk. I can help with homework and following any sort of errands or activities they may have I have a Toyota Highlander which is a very safe car and a perfect driving record. I think one of my core values while watching your children is to make sure they feel safe and cared for above all else when you are not around if we can get homework or other things done that's great but I do think that is very important. I live on the coast and was born and raised here in half Moon Bay. my time is limited for part-time work but looking forward to seeing if we'd be a good fit for each other.

Annette is the best! She is one of the only people I trust to watch my precious babies. (4 yr old & 7 month old) She is so experienced and such a comfort to our family. She always has my 4 year old’s favorites waiting for him, play doh and coloring supplies ? We are so lucky to have her as a sitter!
