I have certifications for First AID, CPR, and AED as well as Childhood Nutrition certificate. I have been working professionally in the child care field for 8 years now. I am currently working at a preschool but I am looking for some more hours and experience for my credentials. I first started working at the Child's Campus at San Francisco State University and after that I ended up opening my own family daycare called Lyons' Littles. In the height of the pandemic I had to close down my daycare and went into in home childcare in an effort to protect my household. Childcare has been a theme in my life for as long as I remember and nothing is more fulfilling to me than shaping young minds and providing assistance to parents. When I first started working with children I knew that this would be my career and I wouldn't have that any other way. I am currently looking for a flexible work week and I am willing to adjust to your needs (Updated 3/12/2025),morning or evening. I do provide weekend care as well. Hi, I'm Ava! I was born and raised in the Bay Area, then moved to the East Coast with the family I was nannying for at the time. I just moved to Modesto and am looking to meet new families! I've always loved working with kids- I started babysitting when I was 12 and then at my local YMCA when I was 15. I worked summer camp, after school, and child watch programs- with children ranging from 6 months to 11 years in age. When I was 17, I started nannying. My typical duties included driving the kids to after school activities, taking them to the park, meal prep, light housework, and general care. I am very comfortable doing basic chores around the house (e. g. dishwashing, laundry, driving the kids places, and other activities) and I have my own car.
