Hi, I am a experienced, reliable private nanny currently seeking a part-time position within 15 miles of Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill/Lafayette area. As a mom of three and a proud grandma, caring for children truly comes naturally to me. I have over 35 years of experience caring for children of all ages, including 12 years supporting children with special needs. I'm warm, patient and engaging, and I love being a part of a child's daily life whether that's reading, spending time outdoors, or supporting routines that help them feel secure and confident. I have excellent references, a drivers licence and I can assist in light household tasks, meal prep, errands, children's laundry and helping keep daily routines running smoothly for busy families. My rate is $32-$40 an hour depending on the job and responsibilities. I prefer a private pay arrangement and I'm open to discussing guaranteed hours for the right family.

Hello local families! 😊 My name is Karla, and I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) caregiver based in San Francisco. I’m currently available for occasional and temporary childcare support while I continue my studies toward becoming a doula. I have experience working with children in different settings, including as a preschool teacher assistant in Hawaii and as a nanny/babysitter here in San Francisco. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and engaging environment where children can feel supported and confident. I enjoy keeping kids active through outdoor play, nature activities, park outings, and creative play, while also supporting routines, organization, and positive habits. I’m reliable, warm, and attentive, and I bring a calm presence to both children and families. I’m also CPR/First Aid trained and happy to provide strong references. ✨ Available for: • Occasional babysitting • Temporary/short-term support • Flexible weekday availability Thank you so much — I’d love to connect and support your family! Linda watched over our 14 month old while she slept during our date night. She was on time, polite, and gave us peace of mind as we left. We will definitely be calling on her again!

Hello! My name is Violet, and I have 8 years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny exclusively for about 4 years and have cared for kids of all ages, although my "specialty" is with younger ones! I love caring for infants, as I am currently working as a Postnatal Care Specialist, where I take care of newborns and freshly postpartum families. I have future goals of becoming an ultrasound technician. I show up every day with an open mind, empathy, patience, and a smile. I love to connect with everyone in the family. I also know a lot of baby sign because I am learning ASL, which can really help those younger ones greatly with their language skills!

Violet is an absolute joy! My kids love her and are always excited to her. She is VERY punctual, well-spoken and kind. She asks questions when she is unsure and respects all of our wishes. We could not recommend her more!

I have 21 years of experience in babysitting children from babies to toddlers. I decided to became a babysitter because I like to teach children and play with them in order to help them transition and grow in life. I am bilingual and have taught and helped out several children I have taken care of with Spanish. I am CPR certified and have plenty of good references. I'm a mother of three so I just love children of all ages, but especially babies.

If I could give Elisa 6 stars, I would! I am so happy she has been part of our family's life for so long. She started watching my daughter and my niece when they were ~7 months old and watched them until they went to daycare around 2.5 (and then she watched my nephew until he went to daycare!). Because we were working from home for much of it, we got to see her "in action". She is kind, patient, communicative, and her genuine love for spending time with kids shines through every interaction. She plays, reads, sings, and talks to the kids constantly - all three kids started talking very well very early and I have no doubt she was part of that!! When she started watching the girls, it was early COVID and she was incredibly conscious and safe. When it started to become ease up a bit, she would take the girls (and later my nephew) on outings every day to various parks, sing alongs, etc, keeping them entertained and engaged. She's also never on her phone and doesnt use screens around the kids. My daughter still asks for her to babysit! I love Elisa and wholeheartedly recommend her - she's a treasure and any family would be lucky to have her!

I was an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at a Fortune 100 company in San Francisco on the Embarcadero. I have been teaching for six years and have worked as a babysitter since my early teenage years. I am moving toward working with families on a long-term basis. I enjoy working with children and supporting the development of their learning skills through nurturing care and positive experiences in new environments with new friends. I love being silly and bringing joy through smiles and laughter. I am interested in learning more about this opportunity.

Charnette has been terrific to work with. She has baby sat our son multiple times starting when he was 9mo old (He's 2yo now). She really knows kids at that age and was able to connect with him quickly and overcame any stranger-danger. They clearly had a good time together and things went super smoothly. She is always quick at communicating and getting back to us and absolutely on time. We couldn't be happier.

Hello! I'm a dedicated childcare provider with over 25 years of paid experience, specializing in infant care and children from first grade and up. As a mother to a wonderful 20-year-old daughter, I understand firsthand the trust parents place in caregivers, and now that my own child is grown, I'm excited to share my passion for nurturing young minds. My previous family trusted me for 16 wonderful years until their children outgrew needing care, which speaks to my reliability and the meaningful relationships I build with families. I'm comfortable with all aspects of infant care including feeding, diaper changes, and sleep routines, and I love engaging elementary-age children with homework help and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure and happy while maintaining open communication with parents about their child's day. My extensive experience means I can handle any situation with confidence and calm, and I'm committed to respecting each family's unique parenting style and household rules.
