I love working with children because I've always wanted to be a mother, but unfortunately I may not get to be which is why I have grown a strong passion to babysit as my occupation as I am out of school and have a lot of time on my hands. I am extremely empathetic and skilled as far as connecting with children, making them feel safe/nurtured, and maintaining responsibilities that come with them. I can cook well and clean very efficiently. I have been babysitting my little cousins since I was very young. I also have helped my best friend babysit kids from her work. I do have experience with taking care of children with special needs. I currently nanny for two toddlers, an 8 year old, and an 11 year old. I am 21 and just finished my junior year at Grand Canyon university where I am majoring in elementary and special education! I absolutely love children and seeing the world through their eyes which is why I am becoming a teacher! I have been babysitting for a little over 9 years now and have 4 years experience of being a nanny! I have experience with ages 2 months to 12 years old but I truly love the lower elementary ages! During my free time I love to cook, bake , go on hikes / walks , and do different arts and crafts! All the families I have been with I have prioritized doing fun art and crafts, going outside, going for walks to the park, and sparking there imaginations while playing!
