I ran 43 daycares for 16 years on the East Coast and was a nanny both in Maryland and in California after the selling of the daycares. I have also taught swimming, art, and dance to young children. I developed the curriculum for the daycares and trained the teaching staff. I have worked with thousands of children over a long career and still receive Christmas cards for children that are now in high school and college. I have over 2000 hours of Early childhood education and am a member of multiple teaching websites and stay up to date on current changes and teaching methods. I have been certified in CPR and first aid for years and have used it successfully in an emergency situation. I completed a class in CPR and First aid in May 2020 at the College of San Mateo and have been certified for many years. I am up to date on current trends such as Baby-led weening and other new techniques. I maintain a log so that the parents know what is happening with their young children. The log includes food and milk intake, diaper activity, nap length, and any observations that need to be passed on. I also take children to parks and pools or other activities. I am vaccinated and Covid careful. I also have multiple references from my past nanny positions. I have a pre-school and art program that I have developed and use currently. I enjoy working with children and building their confidence using music and art. I like to include active learning exercises that keep the children engaged. Singing is a constant part of my day-to-day interaction with the children I care for. I have 5 large Rubbermaid containers filled with games, art supplies, pre-school lessons and a storyboard with many different stories. All geared to develop confidence and build their learning capabilities. My rate is based not only on the market rate but hours and needs. When you hire me you are getting a professional that also becomes part of the family. I am currently looking for a position that is no less than 20 hours and no more than 40 hours a week. If you would like to hire me but don't have a total of 32 hours I am open to a salary amount that pays at the 32-hour rate when under the needed hours. I request five days of paid sick leave, two weeks of paid vacation the first year. Guaranteed salary based on the minimum hours. If this is something that you agree with I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear parents, I am looking forward to working with you to provide excellent care for your children. I have always loved caring for babies and children, and I first started babysitting as a high school student and continued to nanny and babysit through college (2016) and onward. During the summers between my college years, I was a full time nanny for three children in elementary school, responsibly caring for them and providing homework and piano help. From 2017-2019 I worked as an art teacher at Live Oak Academy, a private school in Santa Clara. From July 2019- July 2020 I cared for a boy aged 1 year as a full time nanny, responsibly caring for him while driving him to various activities (swim, music, park), playing with him, providing meals, and keeping a nap schedule. I have renewable CPR and First Aid certifications, I own a car and driver's license, and have an excellent driving record. I'm known to be punctual, reliable, and caring. I'm generally available on weekday afternoons. Feel free to reach out, I'd love to meet you to see if I would be a good fit caring for your children. Sincerely, Carolyn

Hello! I love working with children and have been babysitting for 10+ years. I have experience being a nanny, have worked at a preschool and an after school club. Whenever I babysit, I like to do crafts, go outside, or read with children. My number one goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for kids. If asked, I can provide a resume, references, and a CPR/First Aid card.

Hi! My name is Danielle Fobar and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Utah studying health society and policy. I am 19 years old and have lived in Utah for about a year and a half now. Before Utah, I lived in San Jose, California my whole life. I love children and have been babysitting and nannying since I was 14, but have not had the time since I've been to Utah. I finally have a schedule that allows me to and I am so excited! I've watched children who were a variety of ages ranging from eight weeks to thirteen years old and consider myself very responsible ever since high school. I was able to hold a job throughout high school, while babysitting on the weekends and nannying in the summer, and keep my grades while also being responsible for my horse who I adopted when I was 13. I love helping kids learn and want them to have fun, but will make sure that any responsibilities they may have come first. While I like to make sure I keep things fun while I am watching your kids, safety is something that is very important to me. I am CPR certified and consider myself pretty vigilant, so I will do everything in my power to make sure your kids are safe and happy while in my care.

I’m a thoughtful & caring nanny who has 8 years experience. I adapt quickly into most situations. I love kids & wish I’d have had 5 instead of 2. I’ve worked with newborns, infants, babies & toddlers up to age 15; with 1 child & as many as 4 children at a time. I offer fresh & nutritionally balanced meals & snacks. I handle sleep training if needed, pick ups, drop offs & general household assistance depending on your needs. I maintain kid’s pantry, grocery shop & run errands. I bring age appropriate developmental activities, indoors & outdoors. For example: swimming, mini golf, baseball, beach time, & developmental activities like art, reading, computer, math, legos, & constructive free play. I believe in outings to the parks, museums, movies, & beaches. I’m seeking a great families who need a hand. I am Covid protocol compliant including my vaccines and booster. My varied experience, judgement, patience, energy, education, fitness, & love of play based learning is a great contribution to the right family! Thanks! Lynn - [ ]
