My name is Desiree. I live in Aravda and I have 18 years of child care experience. I have a degree in early childhood education and have worked with children ranging from infants to 10-years-olds. I have volunteered in a daycare, worked in a home daycare, and worked as a private nanny for several families. My experience includes taking care of infants, toddlers, twins, older children, and children with special needs. I have helped children with everything from toilet training to homework to learning piano. With my nurturing and patient nature, I easily taught children how to use sign language. Bringing comfort and joy to children has also brought confidence and new ideas to those entrusted to my care. I areliable, caring, trustworthy, patient and a loving caregiver. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I am available to work Monday-Friday.

Desiree cared for our daughter from 7 months to 2 years old and quickly became part of our family. She loved our daughter deeply and communicated openly and clearly with us. Desiree's educational approach allowed our daughter to explore and learn new things daily. They would go on daily walks where she allowed our daughter to lead the pace, and truly experience the world. They would always have fun whether it was quiet time cuddling and reading a book or in the backyard playing at the water table and slide. Her extensive experience, patience, and dedication ensured our daughter's safety and growth. Desiree was very responsible, always on time, and willing to help out in any way. She was flexible and willing to swap days or do additional days when our other caregivers (grandparents) had appointments or trips. Desiree always informed us about any behavioral issues and handled them thoughtfully, ensuring consistency in care. She had such a positive impact on our daughter's early years. We highly recommend Desiree to any family. Her love, dedication, and professionalism make her an exceptional nanny. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their children.

I am a caregiver by nature. I find myself the most fulfilled when I am caring for children and animals. I love being a parent. My 3 children are now adults. I've recently spent a lot of time with and babysitting for my 7 grandchildren who range in age from 1 to 12 years old. I was the primary caregiver for my granddaughter since birth until recently when she turned 5. I also served in the infant nursery at our church for several years (newborn-2 years), I am a Colorado native. I would love the opportunity to care for your child. Rest assured that they will be well cared for and that I will always respect your preferences for how you would like the care to be provided.

I have cared for many children in the past. As an adult professional I have the ability to care for children day/night and over the weekend. I can also assist the children in a number of academic areas. I am willing to help the parents in anyway possible such as, but not limited too, cooking meals when necessary.

Wonderful! We used Deana while vacationing in Boulder and wished she lived near us so we could use her regularly. She managed putting two wild toddlers to bed and had great instincts on how to respond to and take care of the baby who was having trouble sleeping. Our kids were in good hands. Highly recommend!

I’m a seasoned elementary school teacher and have been a dependable babysitter since I was 10 years old. I’ve built lasting bonds with the families I’ve worked with and still keep in touch with many of them today. While I’m comfortable with all ages, I specialize in and prefer newborn care. I have extensive experience managing infant routines, schedules, and soothing techniques. My background in education means I bring a calm, reliable, and structured approach to keeping your little one safe and nurtured. I look forward to supporting your family!

Maria was a FANTASTIC babysitter for our baby girl who was coming off an ear infection. Maria was so caring, sweet and attentive. She is also very knowledgeable and gave us new parents a lot of great tips. Can't say enough good things about Maria!

Hi! Thank you for posting an opportunity to care for you and your family. I was a preschool teacher in Champaign, IL during college in 1993. I moved to Madison, WI with my husband who got his PhD there and I was a nanny and preschool teacher there. When he graduated, we moved to Denver. I worked at Swedish Medical Center's preschool until 2000. I work full time at a University and simply miss the kiddo energy. I'm looking to pick up part time opportunities to return to the caregiver role I love so much. I've worked with infants through 4th grade. I'd really enjoy meeting you to discuss times I could assist and ease your schedule a bit. : )

We absolutely loved Mary Kay and so did our kids. She helped us out with date nights as well as overnight babysitting. We could always count on her to come up with activities to keep our 4 and 7 yo entertained like baking apple pie cake and other fun things to keep them engaged. We were sad to leave her when we had to move for my job. I would recommend her highly!

Hello! I'm a 39-year-old, fully vaccinated developmental and sleep specialist nanny living in Thornton. I have degrees in neuroscience and psychology, during which time I completed a coveted pediatric sleep research fellowship. I am currently working on a remote master's degree in sleep medicine from Oxford University. I’ve nannied and provided regular sitting for most of the last 20 years in both Denver and Nashville. I am currently looking to expand my rotation of families for date night sitting while I finish school and I am potentially open to part time nanny work (25-30 hours) for the right family. I’m a big believer in developmental-stage focused activies, child-led play, and engaging kids in ways that instill them with a love for learning. I have experience from birth through grade school and have had kids I adore at every age. My love of early childhood development and passion for raising strong, compassionate, and resilient kids is what led me to pursue my degrees. I have provided the two required references but if you need or want more please don't hesitate to ask for as many as you need. Talk to you soon! Dana

Dana has been nothing short of amazing with our son! I am extremely picky when it comes to who we trust to watch our little one and I am just so thankful to have found Dana. She is very experienced with young children and loves being around them—plus our son is always so excited when we tell him that she is coming over. She always knows what developmentally appropriate games to play and how to gently encourage him to finish all of his food. Would highly recommend Dana to any parents looking for someone trustworthy and nurturing!
