I grew up in Texas and come from a very loving, caring, and amazing family. My first job was babysitting, and eventually became the neighborhood babysitter to approximately 15 families. I am an upbeat, positive sitter who caters each child's care to their individual specific needs. I love spending time with kids. Their innocence is absolutely adorable. I am a phd student who has decent amount of free time so want to babysit kids once in a while. I have a drivers license but don't own a car. So I would be choosing to work with people whose homes are close to bus lines and easy to get to.

I have always had jobs centered around child care ever since I was about 14. I started out babysitting for family friends, then worked at a pumpkin patch, coached soccer and volleyball, tutored, worked at a church nursery, taught preschool, and 1st and 6th grade. I am pediatric first aid certified and just finished my masters program for elementary education, and I am now pursuing my phd in special education. I also have a 5 year old daughter with autism, and I have become very familiar caring for children with her similar needs.
