Hello, my name is Kenzi and I am currently attending CU Boulder. I have been working with kids since I was twelve. I’ve worked with dozens of families with kids between the age of 12 weeks to fourteen years old. In the last five years I have worked between preschools and being a caregiver for a kid with special needs. In total I have about eight months as a full time preschool teacher, and almost two and a half years as a part time caregiver. When I’m not at work I live to explore the outdoors, do arts and crafts (absolutely love doing them with the kiddos) and enjoying quality time with those I’m closest to.

I have cared for many children in the past. As an adult professional I have the ability to care for children day/night and over the weekend. I can also assist the children in a number of academic areas. I am willing to help the parents in anyway possible such as, but not limited too, cooking meals when necessary.

I am an older sister so I have been looking after kids for a long time, and enjoy it as it reminds me of my own little siblings! Professionally, however, I started babysitting around my neighborhood in high school and loved it. My first professional job taking care of kids was for Life Time fitness in their Kids Academy (where I had my first training in first aid), and I was assigned daily to various age groups from infants to 11 year olds. For the past two summers I have worked at the YMCA day camp (for which I gained first aid training again) as a counselor, and as a nature camp counselor. These experiences have taught me how to connect with children of all ages while staying responsible, patient, and adaptable in any situation.
