I moved to Madison, WI with my husband who got his PhD there and I was a nanny and preschool teacher there. When he graduated, we moved to Denver. I worked at Swedish Medical Center's preschool until 2000. I work full time at a University and simply miss the kiddo energy. I'm looking to pick up part time opportunities to return to the caregiver role I love so much. I've worked with infants through 4th grade. Sharing memories everytime I'm invited to their graduation, birthday or family thanksgiving give me a sense of accomplishment. I have administrative skills at managing multiple calendars, staying organized, coordinate projects and events. I'm available to take kids to the children museum, other museums, libraries for story time, crafting and role play, dinosor ridge, tchou-tchou train adventure, feeding the giraffe at the zoo, feeding stingray at the aquarium. Playdate with friends or simply playtime at a park. I do not encourage tv, or electronic time for over 2 hours a day split this time in 30 mins increment during the day to watch educative videos for manners, civism, and other educational program according to age. I encourage children to be handy with motor skills, to develop and, enable them to explore, gain independence, and perform daily tasks like self-care. create, innovate, learning, and play. With parents permission, and depending on age, I offer rewards for good behavior, homework, parents assigned shores etc... I'm always open to learn, improve and adapt per each family need because what works one child, will not neccessary work for another.

Hello! I'm a 39-year-old, fully vaccinated developmental and sleep specialist nanny living in Thornton. I have degrees in neuroscience and psychology, during which time I completed a coveted pediatric sleep research fellowship. I am currently working on a remote master's degree in sleep medicine from Oxford University. I’ve nannied and provided regular sitting for most of the last 20 years in both Denver and Nashville. I have 15+ years experience in babysitting. My passion for child care first started at a young age while my mother provided daycare in our home, taking care of children from the age of 6 weeks old to Pre-k age. As a result of that experience I became skilled in taking care of infants to toddlers. Later on out of high school I was an after-school teacher at my local elementary school. When I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 22 I developed a passion and resources to go abroad and work with children over seas.
