Hey Parents! My name is Mia and I’m currently a student at the University of Connecticut! I have both experience as a Nanny as well as extensive experience in childcare. From children ranging 2 months to 12 years old at daycares such as the Brightpath and school settings at the YMCA, I have seen it all! I also have experience with meal prepping/housework. I would love to make your jobs easier while keeping the kids safe and entertained. Please feel free to reach out for an interview to see if we would be a good fit. I look forward to meeting you and your family :)

Mia worked with our family for a little over a month and was consistently helpful, reliable, and attentive to everything we asked of her. Our 8-month-old daughter had only ever been cared for by my husband and me, and was understandably hesitant with someone new. Mia showed incredible patience and persistence, gently building trust and adapting to our baby’s needs with care and sensitivity. We truly appreciated her calm presence and dedication, and would absolutely welcome her back should we need additional support for our baby and/or toddler in the future.

I’ve been babysitting since I was about 14 years old. I love kids, and I am a very adventurous person. I love spending time with kids and finding new things to do with them. I have very flexible scheduling and am very reliable. I have babysat for many families in the past 10 years, and have taken babysitting, first aid and cpr certifications.

We have absolutely loved having Kai provide care for our 18-month-old daughter. For the first couple of weeks, our little one was really nervous and cried a bit, but Kai was patient, gentle, and understanding. She allowed our daughter to lead the way and to engage at her pace and her comfort level. It didn’t take long for our daughter to warm up and look forward to Kai’s arrival each morning. I really appreciated Kai’s focus on learning as she was always teaching our daughter new things (ex: letters, sounds, basic sign language), keeping her engaged, and spending lots of time exploring outdoors. Kai has super positive energy, is very attentive, and clearly cares deeply about the kids she looks after. The only reason we’re not continuing with Kai is that my role was recently eliminated and so I’ll be at home with our daughter, otherwise, we’d absolutely keep working with her! We highly recommend Kai to any family looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to provide care for their child/children. Kerisha

Greetings, Parents! After graduating from high school, I began my career as a professional nanny, caring for children in two families. My first nanny position involved caring for a five year old girl named Shana, who had cerebral palsy and used a wheelchair. Because of her individual needs, I received specialized training and developed a strong understanding of patience, attentiveness, safety, and personalized care. For Shana’s sixth birthday, I even dressed as a clown to help make her celebration special. She was not always comfortable around unfamiliar people, so I wanted to create a fun experience that would bring a smile to her face. My second nanny position began when T.J. was five months old. Later, the family welcomed a baby girl named Alissa, and I had the privilege of caring for her beginning when she was only two days old. During my employment, I also relocated with the family to St. Louis, Missouri. This position gave me professional and extensive hands on experience with infant care, feeding, comforting, developmental stages, daily routines, and maintaining a safe, organized home environment. After working as a nanny for several years, I moved into a management position in the banquet industry. I later became a mother myself. Throughout my professional career, I have also worked in customer service for the State of Connecticut and for a private utility company. These positions strengthened my communication, organization, problem solving, and customer service skills. My years as a professional nanny taught me so much about childcare, household routines, responsibility, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. When I became a parent, I felt confident and well prepared because of the experience I had gained caring for children through many stages of development. I am certified in CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. For additional peace of mind, I have also completed an extensive background check and can provide verification to prospective families upon request. Today, I bring patience, care, organization, professionalism, and a genuine love for children into every family’s home. I especially enjoy creating fun and meaningful experiences through cooking, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and other hands on activities that encourage learning through play and help children create lasting memories.

I am reliable and experienced, caring for newborn, newborn twins, infants, preschool age, 6 years+ teens and children with special needs.
