Hi, my name’s Ayana Amoja. I’m 23 and a current college junior. Throughout high school, I babysat elementary-age children. Furthermore, I worked at a private school working with kids ages 5-14 as well as a part-time nanny to 3 and 5-year-olds, ages 5-12 in a public school setting and with ages 2-5 at two different preschools. I have also been a nanny for an 18 month-year-old and a 1-year-old. I love working with kids. They have made such an impact on my life and I just hope I’ve done the same for them. When my children were in elementary school I provided before and after school daycare in my home. I ended my daycare when my sons went to high school. I worked at a Post Office for 8 years and as a pharmacy technician for over 10 years. I have 5 grandchildren 7 months, 2, 4,5 and 6 years I am a very active grandmother. I previously worked as a nanny for a family in Marlborough, where I took care of a 2 year old and 5 year. I was with this family for over 3 years. My days with the children were always busy, and extremely fun. I planned activities for each day. We did arts and crafts projects, play board games, took nature walks, played outdoor games, and somedays read books and sing and dance. Many times I drove the children to and from school and to libraries for storytime, I am looking for about 8 hrs a week. I am retired and available for pickup or dropoff or morning care My goal each day is to provides safety and happiness and be a role model and a teacher. Safety is my number one priority. I have over 10 years experience providing daycare for children of all ages, with many of years working with infants.
