I am a pediatric occupational therapist student looking to connect with a few families while in school. I grew up in a large family and began working professionally with children at 16. I have worked in other fields and always find myself coming back to pediatrics. My last professional job before school was working for Westfield Headstart. I absolutely loved the opportunity and was heartbroken to leave the job for college. I have experience working with children from 8 weeks old through 10 years old, extensive twin infant experience and experience with special needs children (adhd, asd). I am trained in medicine administration, CPR and firstaid and transport kids frequently from school to home or to sports. The thing I love most about being a nanny/sitter is the personal relationships with the families, getting to watch the kids grow and communicating with parents about goals and working towards them.

I am a mom myself with two grown children. I loved every minute of raising my own children, so that is why I am looking to add some more hours to my schedule caring for other children. I have worked in a school system in Special Education for 19years as a Behavior Coach with children between K though 6th grade. Also summers for the past 9 years I’ve taught Preschool along with switching my career as a full time Preschool Teacher for the past 4 years. Wonderful career! As of June 30th 2026 I am retiring from Simsbury and moving to the CT shoreline. I have a dog, so being in a home with a pet is not an issue for me at all.
