Hello, my name is Brianna & I am 25y/o! Before turning 16 I made money to help my family by baby sitting kids of all ages for teachers who needed child care. I spend a few years working at a pottery/ art studio in Glastonbury Ct where I host birthday parties & camps for ages 3-14. I also love animals! I grew up with multiple dogs & am now a dog foster! I also spend my free time volunteering at a horse rescue ❤️

As a childcare worker for over a decade I started off working in Windsor Public Schools as a Before/After School Program Leader along with working as a STEM teacher in summer camp. Next I worked in daycares as both a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher and as Floating Teacher. Most recently I was a Math/Reading Interventionist, giving individualized and small group instruction to children struggling academically. I also have experience with special needs children and providing ABA play-based therapy to children with autism. Although I’ve had many different roles in the early childhood field, the times where I feel most fulfilled are when a family reaches out to me and entrusts me with the responsibility of caring for their children in their home. I am a mother to my 5-year-old son, so I know firsthand the fear that comes along with searching for someone safe and qualified. I love being able to provide peace of mind to other moms like me and I look forward to helping support your family too.

Emily was amazing with our little girl! Our daughter took to her immediately and Emily was clearly very experienced and knew just how to handle a 3-year-old. Amazingly, she got our daughter to bed before 9PM which never happens for us! When our daughter woke up in the morning the first person she was asking for was Emily and it’s clear she really enjoyed her company. When we came home the play area was also tidied up which certainly is nice to come home to!! :)

We have absolutely loved having Kai provide care for our 18-month-old daughter. For the first couple of weeks, our little one was really nervous and cried a bit, but Kai was patient, gentle, and understanding. She allowed our daughter to lead the way and to engage at her pace and her comfort level. It didn’t take long for our daughter to warm up and look forward to Kai’s arrival each morning. I really appreciated Kai’s focus on learning as she was always teaching our daughter new things (ex: letters, sounds, basic sign language), keeping her engaged, and spending lots of time exploring outdoors. Kai has super positive energy, is very attentive, and clearly cares deeply about the kids she looks after. The only reason we’re not continuing with Kai is that my role was recently eliminated and so I’ll be at home with our daughter, otherwise, we’d absolutely keep working with her! We highly recommend Kai to any family looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to provide care for their child/children. Kerisha
