I am currently employed full time in the school district as a School Counselor. From my adolescence years to present, I have been caring for children. I have had opportunities to care for children of all ages including infants, toddlers and up to young adults. Some of the children I have assisted with have been premature births, pairs of twins, and developmentally delayed children. Additionally, I’ve cared for children with food allergies, skin allergies, autism, Down Syndrome, ODD, OCD and ADHD. I have served as a Guardian Ad Litem for a child in the foster care system of the state of North Carolina. In that capacity, I acted on the child’s behalf in the court system to provide protection, guidance and support until the child reached the age of adulthood.
