Mom and dad both worked 12 and 24 hour shifts so I know first hand the importance of a good bedime routine and have have no problem helping out with small cleaning projects such as laundry and dishes after such time I have been living with a friend for the last 4 years who has a boy who is now 6 and I am just as much his parent. I have my BA in Elementary Education, and I have homeschooled my granddaughter who is about to graduate high school now. I also have special needs twin grandsons, so I am familiar with g-tube feedings and special care these bundles of joy take. I have cared for all ages of children, from newborn to teenagers. As of now, I still take care of them at the ages of 8-10 while keeping up with house chores and the two pets we have while prioritizing myself as well when the time is given.
