Hi I’m Maddie! I recently made the move to Tampa (Wesley Chapel area) from Pensacola, where I spent several years working as a server, a trusted Nanny and babysitter for multiple families. I’m currently a college student pursuing my Associate’s degree and plan to transfer to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. I am 23 years old. I’m a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and currently work in a behavioral clinic/school in Dade City. Working with the children in martial arts as well as helping care for my younger brother with autism and being a member of a club in my high school that was about assisting special needs students inspired my career choice. Having a head Instructors degree in Tae Kwon Do, with 15 years experience, has given me the opportunity to work with children of all ages to develop meaningful skills that they will use in everyday life. I also have experience with students with special needs. Being one of the oldest children in my family and helping care for my younger brother, who has autism, and other family members for most of my life have helped me gain experience in childcare along with families I have cared for in the past. I have cared for a few families both as a sitter and a Nanny. I’m now looking for a new family and littles to care for during occasional weekends and breaks from work (usually around the holidays and weekends!) I have a First Aid/CPR/AED certification. I have taken 2 years of American Sign Language in school. I am willing to work weekends, light housework, transportation, changing diapers if needed.
