Hi my name is Paige, I grew up in PA and am now live in Florida. I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old. I started off with my little brothers since my parents both worked 40+ hours a week and id take care of him as well as help with the house. I absolutely love being a nanny/personal assistant and helping out around the house to help make the parents lives little bit easier! It makes me so happy and gives me such joy to be able to help others and care for their children as if they were my own. I take passion in what i do. I am outgoing, respectful, honest and easygoing. I have taken classes at Montgomery community college as well as two college course at Souderton area high school in child development and preschool lab which was an actual daycare the school had. We would plan the curriculum for the day and run it as our own. I worked at Pennridge school district in PA with students who are autistic, teaching them life skills. I also worked at the souderton area high school cheer camp with kids 5-12 years old and theres about 60+ of them. We teach them cheers and a dance routine that they preform at the end of the week. I babysat for many families and dog sit as well. I have been told by many families how patient and natural I am with their children. I have my own vehicle, a 2024 Chevy Colorado z71. I have a dog of my own so I am very comfortable with pets. I am a very clean and organized person and can help with any additional needs that you may have. I began babysitting and caring for infants at age 14. My entire dream of “when I grow up” was to be a mom and have a big family. After college I got married and became a career nanny. I did that for 4 years until we began our own family. I raised and homeschooled our 6 children, taught Elementary and High School language arts as well as music and drama in our homeschool coop for many years. I have a natural gifting with infants and toddlers and can usually know what they are trying to tell us they need. I’m usually very fluent in “toddler speak”. I am also a lactation consultant. My approach to childcare is rooted in nurturing. I believe every child is a gift to this earth and completely unique and special. I build a trusting relationship by affirming and enjoying the child and getting to know them and letting them become comfortable with me. Most kids trust me quickly and easily. I believe in patience, calmness, light heartedness, while also being their leader so they can feel secure. I am comfortable following the parents' lead in terms of enforcing household rules and prefer to communicate verbally (rather than written) if that’s agreeable with the parents. As far as outdoor activities, I enjoy going on walks or taking the children to the park or beach if the parents are comfortable with that. All of this depends on the age of the child and how many children I’m caring for. I love pool and water activities if there is access to a pool and if it’s age appropriate. (I have taught many children how to swim.) I am willing to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and laundry. Also if applicable, I can grocery shop, run errands, take children to appointments or play dates.

I’m BLS certified and currently working in the medical as a surgical technician in labor and delivery but also have Trauma experience so I am good and calm in stressful situations! I adapt easily and only work three days a week typically the weekends so I’m open during the week to help with all your childcare needs

I have been working with children from a young age. I would volunteer at my church with the younger classes from 3rd grade up. With plenty of experience from new born to adult special needs i have done it all. I have my CPR and First aid certificate as well as a stop the bleed certificate. I started working with special needs when I was in 6th/7th grade. When I went to high school I was involved in lots of clubs and sports. Some clubs I was apart of included PALS ( providing Autism links and support) I was the president of it by the time i finished high school, Surf club, Best Buddied ( a special needs club where you are a buddle to one of the extra special students) Ailed Health, and Athletic Trainer. I was part of the Ailed Health Academy which included working sporting events and taking care of injuries from broken bones heat related illness concussions and everything in between. While in high school I worked as a lifeguard so I am all about water fun as well as can teach your kiddo how to swim.
