Hello, I am from New York and moved to Florida a year and a half ago. I am a retired Nursery School Director. My love of children started when I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. I continued babysitting until I graduated college. I was an elementary school teacher for six years. I left teaching to be a stay at home mom and raised two boys. When my sons were teenagers, I returned to education part time and was a two year old head teacher at a church nursery school. I loved the children, the program, the other teachers, and I had a special connection with the parents. I did that for five years. I unfortunately had to leave the school to work and help my husband in his office. A few years later I was asked if I would be the director of the school. Since it was a morning program, I was able to work at the school and at the office . I held that position until I retired. I am still friendly with my staff and some of my former parents and students. At this point in my life, I would like to babysit part time. I love kids, pets, and pickle ball!

I am a 20 year old college student (almost 21) who absolutely loves children! I am currently earning my bachelors degree for elementary education and I am also working for the county as an extended day counselor. Along with that, I started substitute teaching quite recently and am very familiar with normal childcare procedure. I started babysitting on the side when I was 15 to make some money since I wasn't old enough to get a real job yet and ended up loving it. I started babysitting for family friends and then soon started to extend my services to my neighborhood. I am very good with little ones although I have tons of experience with older children as well! I have been certified in CPR since 2018, and have since gotten renewed as well. During summers in high school I would babysit two children, from 8 A.M.-4 P.M. Ages 4 and 6. I would provide, breakfast, lunch and a snack for them before pick up. I would also, have a daily activity for the kids to do, to keep them busy. Such as arts and crafts, outdoor activities,or different games in the house. I would make a schedule for each day so I was organized and had everything planned to keep them going! I'd babysit them every summer. I also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and would watch children from all ages. I would also watch the infants at church during service. I love working with children!
