Hello Parents, Here is a little about me. After you read this and you are still interested in using me let me know when I can meet your family. At age 12 my first job was at a bowling alley watching children in Pensacola. In my mid-20's I married a childhood friend who I convenience to enlisted into the Navy. We moved to Virginia where I volunteered in a place that was a holding place for children whose parents or guardians didn't want them or couldn't take care of them. Most of the children were sad. I worked hard to figure out how I could put a smile on their faces. I'm no longer married but I have 2 wonderful sons from the marriage. When my sons were young, we moved back to Pensacola. I took a lot of child development classes from PJC. I've worked in several childcare businesses and Retail businesses. When my sons became adults and lived on their own, I started caring for one Military family's young children at a time in my home or their home. All of these families got transferred but they still send me pictures of their children. My fee is $15 per hour, and I only accept cash that is paid on the same day that I work for you. I'll take your child outside to play with their toys or play games inside on raining days. If I'm watching your infant, I will talk, sing and use age-appropriate toy to entertain them. While your older child is playing, I'll ask them to touch a color, count the toys etc. Bathroom time and washing hands often are important. If they are happily playing inside and I see laundry that needs to be folded or the floor that needs to be swept you may see me doing it. So, if you are still interested let me know.

Hi, I come to you with lots of experiences, both personal and professional.  I have worked in day care centers, preschools and I was a nanny, both live in and live out.  As you can tell I really enjoy working with children.  We have lived all over since my husband is retired Navy and I am Mommy after many years of TTC.  She was an answer to our prayers.  I have stayed home with her.  She is now  17 years old and in 12th grade at school.  I would like to find some jobs while she is school.   I'm really looking for very part time ir extra babysitting for now. As for experience, most of my experience is when I was a nanny.  I watched children from newborn to age 10.   I did everything from child care, taking to and from school, errands, laundry, light housekeeping, party planning, Doctor appointments etc.   I worked for one family as a live in from 1990-1991.  Another live in job from 1991-1997, a live out position split between 2 families from 1997-2001.  I have not worked since then due to living overseas and then having my own daughter in 2004.   I also have experiences with living in different areas and cultures. I am from South Dakota, but have lived in the San Francisco area, San Diego, Rota Spain, New Orleans, Norfolk, VA and  now Milton FL.    As as being a Nanny and working with children I have volunteer experience.   While living overseas I volunteered working for RAWL, a local no kill facility.   I took care of the cats one day a week from cleaning cages, feeding the cats and taking care of their well being.  I have also served on the board of the family readiness groups for the US Naval ships that my husband has served on.  I usually took the role of the Treasure but we kept the family up to date on ships movements and kept them entertained while the ship was deployed.   My husband is now working over an hour from our home. Because of this there are times, depending on day and time, I would need to pick up my daughter around 3:20 daily at MHS.
