Hi, my name is Stephanie and I’m a wife of 15 yrs, a stay at home mom to 5 children (3 boys & 2 girls) and a Nana to my grandson & granddaughter. My non-human kids are 3 cats. I’m CPR/First-Aid/AED certified and I’ve also worked as a home health caregiver, pet sitter and babysitter . I went to college (a very long time ago, lol) to be an EMT on rescue and got state certified but life had a different plan for me. I have been a volunteer firefighter, a correctional officer, a healthcare provider at the Northeast Florida State Hospital & I also worked as a daycare/preschool teacher ranging from infants to 5 yr olds. I was recently working for a family taking care of their husband/grandpa as a home health caregiver, but unfortunately, he passed away. I occasionally babysit for three different families with their children ranging from 1 month old to 14 yrs old. I love children and I love to teach them and watch them learn and grow. I love spending time with my family, cooking/baking, traveling, hanging around the house having family game/movie nights, having cookouts with friends, shopping and spending time with my cats and making art and crafts. I am very punctual, loyal, trustworthy, caring, loving, patient, compassionate, kind, fun and enjoy taking care of children, the elderly and pets. My hours are flexible Monday through Friday. I’m available any time on Saturdays and any time past 9am on Sundays. I used to be a babysitter for many families so far, in my last jobs I I worked 3 years for a Dr. family, 2 years for a veterinarians, 2.5 years for a health insurance agent. I have worked part time as a CASA volunteer in Huron County Ohio for abused and negligent children and their families as a mentor and advocate for the Juvenile Court system. I enjoyed working with children and helping them even with homework, I also can cook, bake, clean, vaccinated, kind and punctual, educated.

As I was juggling that job, I was taking care of a little one for someone also. In doing that, I found I would rather be working with children full time than adults! I absolutely adore littles. I have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren of my own and I previously worked with the school system as a Teaching Assistant. A teacher friend of mine was expecting a baby and I was looking to retire at the same time. She asked me what I thought I might do once I retired and I still wanted to work with children so she asked if I would be interested in being a Nanny for her. I retired on a Friday and she gave birth to her son on Saturday morning and for the next 5 years and 3 beautiful boys our situation worked out wonderfully. Since then I have babysat 4 other children and a few before and after school. I love kids and I know that this was my calling. I enjoy playing, reading going for walks and just loving them. I am currently in my fourth year of the Early Childhood program at my high school and have earned all of my DCF hours (can provide transcripts) and in march I will have earned my CDA credential for preschool. Currently I am employed at a daycare Monday-Friday and have worked there for over a year and have my First Aid / CPR. I have a huge family so I have always been around kids and had to baby sit them so this is something I really enjoy and hope to continue to work with kids as a career. Since I am still working my availability is anytime after 6 preferably on Fridays and I would do weekdays it would just have to be till about 9-10.
