To explain a little about myself, I currently volunteer for my church nursery. I’ve worked in property management for many years and ready for something fun and sweet to work with. Soon my husband and I will have a 20 year old, so I miss the little cute ages and stages. It would give me great joy to help another Mother go to work knowing her child is in good hands.

Hi! My name is Ashley Boatwright, I am a 24 year-old from Atlanta, Ga. I graduated GA Southern University with a Business Administration Degree in Management in 2023 and relocated to FL upon my graduation. I have 11 years of combined experience in babysitting, nannying, and working in quality-rated daycares. I am currently a nanny for 3 girls age 2-7 and started when the youngest was a week old. This position included drop offs, pickups, extra curricular actives, household management, and everything in between. I am looking for a new position as the youngest will be starting preschool in August. I started babysitting in middle school and went on to work in child care in high school through an early childhood program where I worked my first job in a daycare setting. I floated between all rooms (3 months to 5 years old) and assisted the lead teachers with whatever was needed. This included feedings, changing, activities, learning time, nap time, and many other duties. Through this position, I gained 2 full-time nanny clients and many other babysitting jobs. These positions included babysitting individual kids, multiple children, infants, toddlers, elementary kids, and special needs children. During the summers I was a full-time/part-time nanny to 3 different families with kids aged 2-8. When I left for college I got a job at a quality-rated daycare in Statesboro where I was a co-lead teacher for a class of 1 to 2-year-olds. I then went on to nanny for a family with 2 kids aged 7-9 and was their nanny for 2 years. My duties included picking the kids up from school, taking them to extracurriculars, meal time, and homework, taking them out and about to get out of the house, and helping them navigate being a kid. I am extremely passionate about working with children and truly love being an extra hand that parents can rely on. As they say, raising kids takes a village and I would love to be a member of yours!

Children are my passion.... and I honestly mean that! I sadly never had my own... so I try to surround myself in a child's love! First thing parents ask me and want to know is, am I vaccinated? Yes and I have the Moderna Booster, and I will bring my card along to show you. I moved down to Florida 10 years ago from Chicago to take care of my 2 elderly parents and just a few weeks ago my father passed. I now have a lot of time so I want to get back into babysitting and child care. In addition to being a full time nanny I have experience in babysitting all ages of Children. I have started with infants of 3 months all the way up to Tweens. I am not a sitter who will play on their smart phone in the oresence of your child... actually I find that behavior rude when it is done to me and to be honest my job is to engage and interact with your child so we bring out the best in each other. That is the very least I can do for your child and it is my job! So please don't worry about that. Also if I am driving your child anywhere I will keep your child's safety as my number one priority and I drive cautiously and if course defensively looking out for any distracted drivers that might exist. I watched the children for up to two weeks while the parents were out of town, which was a huge success! I’m available 24/7 for emergencies and sick child care. I may start in the morning, and I’ll leave when my job is done to my satisfaction. I usually don’t pay attention to the time, often coming home after 10:00 p.m. I’m not afraid of hard work and long hours. I also do Special Event Care, such as Weddings, allowing the adults to enjoy knowing their children are in great care. I do Pet Sitting, House Sitting, Errands, and Special Projects. I have been taking care of kids whether being a volleyball assistant coach for middle schoolers and also babysitting my neighbors children. All of the parents I have worked for have said that I have a special ability to make their children happy and calm. I am very exercise driven and educated driven. I will be able to provide homework help as well as projects. I am currently enrolled at Elon University and going into my Sophomore year. I am ending Freshman year on the Deans List twice (honors). I think reading is very important and I want to make sure that there should be moments where children can read during the day or night as well as have some time for electronics. I also love taking the kids out to run around, play basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming, etc. I am CPR certified as well as lifeguarding. I also know how to cook very well courtesy of my mother who makes homemade food every day. Again, I love kids very much and I will make sure they are safe no matter what.

I love taking care of children, making sure they’re safe and having the chance to watch them grow into a better version of them self. I worked for boy girls and I’m a preschool teacher for 2 years old for almost 2 years. Some skills I have is creativity and having the mind to help kids grow and help open their imagination.
