I am a highly qualified babysitter as I have a degree in early childhood and have worked as a preschool teacher and special needs teacher for 35 years. Some of those years were spent as a nanny as well. I am looking for babysitting jobs as I am moving to Marco Island to live with and care for my mother who will be leaving Florida each summer. It will be difficult finding a teaching job when I can't commit to the full year.

I was also responsible for driving him to his activities and appointments such as MyGym, play dates, and doctor visits. I worked at Youth Haven for 3 years which is a temporary shelter for children in foster care. This career path has increased my skills in working with children ages 6-18, children with disabilities and medical issues, and creating a routine. My responsibilities included meal preparation, helping with homework, planning activities, and monitoring bath and bedtime routines. In addition I have taught dance classes in various styles to children, substitute teacher for a year, children’s ministry director, and babysat for local families.
