Hello, I am from New York and moved to Florida a year and a half ago. I am a retired Nursery School Director. My love of children started when I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. I continued babysitting until I graduated college. I was an elementary school teacher for six years. I left teaching to be a stay at home mom and raised two boys. When my sons were teenagers, I returned to education part time and was a two year old head teacher at a church nursery school. I loved the children, the program, the other teachers, and I had a special connection with the parents. I did that for five years. I unfortunately had to leave the school to work and help my husband in his office. A few years later I was asked if I would be the director of the school. Since it was a morning program, I was able to work at the school and at the office . I held that position until I retired. I am still friendly with my staff and some of my former parents and students. At this point in my life, I would like to babysit part time. I love kids, pets, and pickle ball!

I have over 19 years experience working as a sitter/nanny of all ages but mostly newborn to toddlers. I have experience with twins too. I’m patient and reliable. I miss them all the time but I still spend time with them when I make trips to see my family there. Hi, My name is Kim.  I have wonderful kids that are 21 and 18 and they are very independent. I have many other bonus children that I’ve spent time with on the basketball court, on the football field, or at Marching Band or Girl Scout events. I have a warm and nurturing personality. I’m able to draw on my many years of child rearing experience when when a toddler is teething, or if a child needs re-direction or just listen and support when they are struggling. I'm well versed in being an extra pair of eyes and ears at the beach. It's so important for parents to get alone time to relax and recharge. I’m certified in CPR and First Aid. I’ve been a volunteer for the School District for the past 5 years. I’ve helped out with the Band at South Fort Myers HS in many different roles.        I like playing outside, showing the kids the games from my childhood.  My house is where where the kids in the neighborhood tended to gravitate.  I like to read, paint and color (I can draw a pretty decent Elmo.) I am a mom of 2 grown sons, and " mom-mom" to Zoey and Meeko. I love Zoey and Meeko, but they each have 4 legs and wagging tails, and they just don't sit still when I want to read to them, or take them to the movies. I decided to reach out to moms and dads that would appreciate the love and fun that I can give to their kids. I have completed the Heartsaver, First Aid, CPR, AED course given by the American Heart Association, so your children are safe with me. Formerly, Bubbles the Clown, you may come home to faces painted, musical squares, or us having quiet time after a full day of fun. Hi, I am retired but devoted my life to education and children grades PK-12th. I owned and operated a school for 11 years and it was ranked as an incredible example in our industry magazine.
