Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a 20 year old student at UCF majoring in Nursing with a minor in Health Science !! I have worked as a babysitter with kids between 9 months - 11 years of age for about 3 years. I started babysitting when I was 15 and babysat my cousin who was around 6 months old. After one Summer of babysitting her for 5 days a week from 7 am - 5 pm, I fell in love with watching and caring for her, and it opened my eyes to the idea of becoming a babysitter. I used to work as a party event monitor for a bounce house company and at one of the events they were hosting I was the monitor. It was for a subdivision near the east side and my job was to make sure that the younger kids were not being trampled by the older kids that would pass by in the neighborhood. There was a little girl who was 2 years old and the bounce house was very high so she asked me to get in with her; I said yes of course and then got tricked into going several times with her throughout the obstacle course ;). Around the 5th time, her mother came up to me and asked me if I babysat because she saw the way that I interacted with the kids and could tell that I enjoyed it. From that experience, I was able to babysit her 3 and 11 year old daughters. I do have a car and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My focus is on building trust with your child to be able to create a space that is open and fun. I enjoy making home-cooked meals, playing board games, listening to music, and karaoke, and taking drives to the ice cream shop and park. I am attentive and will work hard to make sure that the time your child and I will spend together will be colorful and entertaining. I look forward to meeting you and your family !! <3
