I pride myself on my being very dependable, honest, mature, and I get great satisfaction out of helping others.  I adore spending time with children and have 22+ years of experience caring for toddlers and infants. I am a mom of 1 furry Westie and bonus mom to 2 small amazing kiddos. I have been around children my whole life so it comes very natural to me. All of my friends children call me Aunt April because I spoil and treat them as if they were my own. I am always looking for new, fun and creative ways to entertain children and pass the information down to my family and friends! I am currently learning sign language for infants, as I have experienced some amazing progress with children learning some basic signs and signals! I was a babysitter since a wee little kid and was actually a full and part time nanny for families in the many areas I have lived. It was a joy to watch the babies grow and bond with you! I am definitely a hands-on personality type and love to play with the children, engage in activities, sports, crafts, take for walks outside, help with homework or anything they prefer to help stimulate their minds as opposed to just sitting them in front of the tv all day. I also keep a "Nanny Journal" to document all of the activities performed that day to include all feedings, bottles, diapers, Rx administered, household cleaning, pet-care, or any other special notes to parents about anything important! I used to volunteer frequently at my old church in Nebraska (for several years) in the childcare room so I could watch the newborn babies. I have worked at an animal hospital in the past and became very experienced in many aspects of the veterinary field and can administer vaccinations, bathe, partially groom (depending on breed) give subQ fluids, give shots and other special needs. I am Red Cross certified in BOTH human AND pet first aid and CPR!! I know people cannot believe their is a class for dogs, but I am serious in knowing everything I can to save my "children's" life! Children and dogs are my passion and I’m always striving to learn more and help them flourish! I am taking COVID seriously to protect myself and others.

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a 20 year old student at UCF majoring in Nursing with a minor in Health Science !! I have worked as a babysitter with kids between 9 months - 11 years of age for about 3 years. I started babysitting when I was 15 and babysat my cousin who was around 6 months old. After one Summer of babysitting her for 5 days a week from 7 am - 5 pm, I fell in love with watching and caring for her, and it opened my eyes to the idea of becoming a babysitter. I used to work as a party event monitor for a bounce house company and at one of the events they were hosting I was the monitor. It was for a subdivision near the east side and my job was to make sure that the younger kids were not being trampled by the older kids that would pass by in the neighborhood. There was a little girl who was 2 years old and the bounce house was very high so she asked me to get in with her; I said yes of course and then got tricked into going several times with her throughout the obstacle course ;). Around the 5th time, her mother came up to me and asked me if I babysat because she saw the way that I interacted with the kids and could tell that I enjoyed it. From that experience, I was able to babysit her 3 and 11 year old daughters. I do have a car and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My focus is on building trust with your child to be able to create a space that is open and fun. I enjoy making home-cooked meals, playing board games, listening to music, and karaoke, and taking drives to the ice cream shop and park. Hello, I am CPR certified and have taken an EMT course which has educated me in first aid and EMT skills such as being able to handle tough situations, knowing when something is life-threatening, and having common knowledge about real life medical situations. Along with my first aid background I have worked with children as a private nanny and I have experience working in daycares with newborns to 4 years of age and in camp settings working with school age children. I have worked with children that have special needs such as asthma, autism and also children that have food/ bee allergies.
