I am a professional baby nurse. I am an RN with ten years hospital experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse. I love caring for newborns and children of all ages. I have many years experience as a nurse and nanny. I wanted a less stressful life from the hospital; so I have made a career the past several years working as an independent contractor taking care of newborns. I hold a current GA nursing license and CPR certification. I have an excellent rapport with every family I’ve been with. I have current references and an intact driving record.

I am a mom to 6 grown children. I am also a former elementary PE teacher and middle school coach. When caring for babies cuddling, singing, and reading is a fun way to spend awake times. I know that toddlers and big kids want to stay active and busy! Things I love- being outside, going on nature walks, bike rides and back yard explorations, finding frogs and lizards and making collections of beautiful leaves and rocks. I love birds, throwing baseball, shooting basketball, kicking soccer balls, throwing frisbees and footballs, jumping rope and coloring with side walk chalk. While inside coloring, playing with play doh and reading are my favorites. I enjoy sitting along side as legos or other sorts of creations are developed. I am an undefeated candy land opponent :). I am interested in part time jobs, covering for date nights, one time stays and possibly occasional overnights. Pets are fine with me.

My life's work has been with children. I'm a retired preschool teacher/administrator with three children of my own. I began my professional career at 18 as a preschool teacher, then became an early childhood administrator after college (AS in Child Development), led two licensed childcare centers through national accreditation before retiring when all my children had outgrown my program. In 2018, I became a certified children's yoga teacher and started a small business teaching yoga, mindfulness and emotional regulation skills to children 3 mo- 17 years.
