My name is Marisa and I recently moved to Warner Robins in 2022 with my boyfriend who is in the Air Forced. I previously lived in Phoenix for the past 11 years, after graduating from DePaul University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with kids of all ages and abilities since I was 13. I am CPR / First Aid certified and have previously taught special education preschool and Kindergarten. I currently teach 3rd Grade so I only have summer, night, and weekend availability at this time. I prefer to engage the children I sit for in activities that involve being outside when possible or doing other hands on/engaging activities. The television/computer/video games are something I try to stay away from at all costs unless it is specified by the parent that the children are allowed to engage in these activities. I do not mind doing light housekeeping if it is requested, but preferably while the kids are napping or down for the night if they're younger as I like keep my full attention on the kids. I also love animals so dogs, cats, bunnies, anything with fur or scales is fine by me. I typically charge $15 for one child, $20 for 2, and $25 for 3+, but am willing to negotiate if it is an overnight or if children are asleep for a majority of the time. I’m also happy to drive children to/ from activities but will require a gas stipend as gas prices being what they are currently.

I'm a college student athlete home for the summer. I plan to become a OBGYN, I’ve always loved working with children, so why not want the profession that helps bring them into the world. I have 4+ years of experience babysitting, nannying, or working in general with all age groups. With my mom is a Pre-K teacher I've been around childcare for as long as I can remember. I am CPR + First Aid certified and have extensive experience with children of all ages, particularly babies and toddlers. I'm skilled in meal prep, diaper changes, sleep strategies, and I have my own car. I'm patient, enjoy building connections with kids, and am comfortable with all kinds of personalities. Feel free to contact me for references or to set up a call!

I love being a sitter because I enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. It’s rewarding to be someone kids can trust and feel comfortable around while giving parents peace of mind. I have experience caring for children ages 3 and up through helping family members and babysitting for people I know. I’ve supervised playtime, helped with meals and snacks, assisted with homework, and kept kids entertained with games and activities. My skills include being patient, responsible, reliable, and energetic. As an athlete at Fort Valley State University, I’ve developed strong time-management and leadership skills that help me stay organized and handle different situations calmly. I’m also attentive and focused on keeping children safe at all times.
