So, I'm 21 years young, but have been a babysitter since I was about 10. When my three young brothers were born, I was like a second mother to them. I did everything for them; I made their bottles/ food, changed their diapers, and even bathed them. Because my mom and dad allowed me to raise my younger brothers, my heart has grown so much to love kids and that is about 50% of the reason I'm studying to become a social worker. The other reason is to be able to help out those that are destitute. I know that the Bible tells us that children are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18)! You can learn so much from the innocence of children. Now, a little bit about me: I'm a social work student at Georgia State University. I will be a junior after the summer. I'm really big on church and God. He has saved me from so much and I could never EVER thank Him enough. I am a Certified Assistant Nurse ( CNA) and Doula, Lactation Consultant, Certified Medication Aide, have current BLS and CPR. I home schooled my kids till the age of 12 ( Now they are 17 and 21), have excellent experience with accute care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. I love kids and the elderly.
