In 1988-1989, I completed a vocational program in child day care management. In 1990, I worked for 7 months as a temporary nanny for a child recovering from heart surgery. The job ended when the child was well enough to go back to day care. I have worked as a high school teacher for 15 years. I am also a mom. (Young empty-nester with no grandchildren. That is why I want to work as a nanny.)

I’ve been babysitting since high school and honestly, I’ve always loved it. Hanging out with kids is kind of my thing, whether we’re doing crafts, playing games, or just figuring out how to make snack time more fun. I'm super patient, pretty creative, and can handle anything from toddler tantrums to bedtime routines. I’m also totally cool with pets, so if you’ve got a dog that needs walking or a cat that needs some love (or a goldfish that just needs someone to remember to feed it), I’ve got that covered too.
