I also have a strong background in competitive swimming, having competed for 10 years, and I’ve taught swimming to children ranging from 1 to 16 years old. I lovingly cared for her until this past June, handling everything from preparing her meals, bathing, diaper changes, naps, and playtime, to engaging her in activities that supported her growth, development, and intelligence. It was a joy to see her thrive. The family has since relocated, and I am now looking for another little one to care for. I love being active outdoors and enjoy taking children on fun outings, as well as spending time at home engaging them in creative activities such as painting, coloring, reading, and exploring. I’m a former preschool teacher and nanny that has recently gone back to school to be a nurse. I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Special Education and have been babysitting since I was 9 years old. I love spending time with kids to give them a fun and playful learning experience while also feeding my own inner child. I love kids! I worked at a summer camp for 3 years and I had so much fun that I forgot I was getting paid for it! I can be serious when needed but I love to be a big brother to the child. I am very active and play college soccer. I believe my college soccer status separates me from other sitters because I am able to balance being active and getting work done. I also believe my summer camp counselor status is important because there were many times I had to “babysit” multiple kids at a time while trying to assure that every kid was having a blast!!

I’ve recently moved to Chicago from Georgia and I’m excited to start this next chapter of my life. I frequently babysat for a few different families before I moved and I’d love to get started again. I think that children are the biggest gift and can teach you so many things.
