I have been working full-time with children since I graduated from college in 2009, with a few exceptions, and have overall 20+ years of experience with children ranging in age from 2 months to 16 years. I have extensive experience working to support children with behavioral and mental health issues and to provide education to their caretakers; as a skills trainer, paraprofessional, and behavioral coach, I have worked in homes and schools with children with a variety of developmental delays and disorders, including ASD/PDA, ODD, RAD, Down’s Syndrome, and brain damage. As an outdoor educator with the US Fish and Wildlife Service I helped bring educational programs and summer camps to schools and remote villages. I enjoy reading, surfing, hiking and growing/harvesting/processing food.
